193/1001

It's been a long while since I've blogged about my Day Zero project. I can't believe how horrible I've been at this.

I have been working on my list, but I find lately, I've been adding more things to it than crossing off.

I am slowly getting some goals accomplished, though.

It's winter and there's been a lot of snow and a lot of -20 days. I've been doing some reading, towards my read 30 books goal.

Since I enjoyed Eat, Pray, Love so much, I figured I would try out Elizabeth Gilbert's sequel to the book, titled Committed. I'm sort of sorry I did. I found it a slow, drawn out paranoid rant about the institute of marriage and it felt like an attack on any woman who chose to enter into marriage without being forced to by government officials so you could have your happily ever after. At best, I found this book irritating. I'd take a huge pass on this one.

I'm also reading a few other books and have even more lined up for when I've finished those.

I'm reading Meg Cabot's Queen of Babble. It's a typical chick lit. I'm liking it okay, it's a good brain break.

I'm also working on Blink. It's a interesting read.

Next on my shelf is Everything That Can Happen in a Day by David Horvitz. This book was recommended to me from a Postcrossing friend. I'm excited about it.

I also picked up the Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin, recommended by a forum I belong to. I'm looking forward to that one.

I think when I get through this list, I will have read about 12 books.

I'm starting over on my 200 situps challenge. I found it was easier than I thought it was going to be and then I sort of gave up on it.

I'm also looking at blogging more often. I'm not always sure I have interesting stuff to say. So I'll see how that goes.
